The story so far. A self confessed vinyl addict/crate digger. Been playing music since 1993 in london. Musical styles range from Hip-Hop r'nb House soul funk disco drum & bass all of which can be old or new. A major player on the london pirate radio scene from 1995 till present time. list of pirates over the years range from PURE MAGIC 90.2 -LONDON UNDERGROUND-TOUCH FM AND currently LONDON'S BIGGEST RINSE FM. Holding down a weekly show which is mainly based around house music and the sons and daughters of house i.e UK/US GARAGE SOULFUL FUNKY DEEP AND TECH. Also no stranger to competitions, DAPPA was involved in the GEMINI dj competitions from 1999-2001 and took the title in IBIZA IN 2001 @ CAFE MAMBO. 25 DJ'S one winner (DAPPA) CLUB WORK RANGE FROM MINISTRY OF SOUND,EMBASSEY,CLUB 10,HERBAL, AQUARIUM,KREMLIN BAR & CAFE MAMBO (IBIZA) SEVEN APPLES (ITALY) EAST VILLAGE,BAR RUMBA,JAM BAR & many more in the london and surrounding areas DAPPA has such a vast collection of music that he has been collecting for 20+years (currently around 20-25,000 records and that was his last count around 8-10 years ago) so he fits in and can play most styles of music. Being a dj has rules to be followed BUT RULES CAN BE BROKEN. you have to be prepared for any given situation and try and deal with it the best you can. being able to adapt to your surroundings and pulling off the best job you can. YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST GIG. Ultimately enjoy what you do and this will be reflected to your listeners and clubbers. Dappa has been involved in the record shop industry for the last 10 years through the good and bad. From the corporate world of H.M.V to his current position at the world famous Wyld Pytch / UPTOWN RECORDS Camp. Production also has been playing a part in the different sounds from remixes to original productions with forthcoming under his guise BROKEN TEKNOLOGIE.
